Flash & Focus - Night at the Museum 2023

It's almost that time again: on Saturday, 29 April, we are celebrating our second Night at the Museum and invite you to "Flash & Focus - a night of photography with beats and cocktails at the Ernst Leitz Museum". From 7:00PM to 1:00AM the museum will be transformed into a dance floor. Look forward to an extraordinary evening in a special ambience with stimulating conversations and tasteful drinks at the bar.

This year you will dance to the sound of DJ Oli Roventa. The Wetzlar native plays in well-known clubs throughout Europe and is responsible for the musical concept of the Gibson Club in Frankfurt, where he has also been a regular DJ for 11 years. Radio shows at YOU FM and Ibiza Live Radio are also part of his portfolio. On 29 April, you can expect a combination of a DJ set and live saxophones.

Discover our interactive museum in a new way together with friends. Try out different design elements at our photo stations and be inspired to create unusual images. In addition, we will surprise you with a photo studio set-up that suits the evening, where our photographer will set the scene for you alone or in a group. The photographs will be made available to you later via a download link. At the same time, Stylist of Reality will be on display in the exhibition area of the Ernst Leitz Museum. Around 150 black-and-white subjects give you an insight into the work of Alberto Venzago: from a series on a Voodoo cult and the Yakuza to a group of magnificent celebrity portraits.

The area in front of the Ernst Leitz Museum also invites you to relax. Here you will find an outdoor area where you can enjoy fries and BBQ specialities.

Early Bird Tickets for the Night at the Museum are available from 17 March and until 28 April for 9.50 euros in the Museum Shop and via Eventbrite. For those who want to make a last-minute decision, it is also possible to purchase tickets on the evening of the event at a price of 11.00 euros. After 10:00PM, the reduced price of 9.50 euros applies to everyone.
